MS is a neurological condition Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects nerves in your central nervous system. That's your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating (called myelin) that protects your nerves is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel. Roxy was diagnosed in 2014 and has since built a platform championing visibility, adaptive fashion and disability rights.

In disability advocacy, it means ensuring that voices like Roxy's, as a Mixed Raced Black and White Carribean pansexual woman with MS, are centred rather than marginalised.

MS affects people of all backgrounds, yet research and charity spaces have historically lacked ethnic and cultural diversity. Roxy advocates for meaningful representation at every level from clinical trials to boardrooms so that noone in community feels underrepresented or left behind.
